Let's get this out of the way.

Due to an e-bike fire that destroyed our shop and kept us out of business for over a year we cannot and will not service e-bikes. We have nothing against e-bikes (aside from the fire hazard and general safety issues they present), and wish we had the capacity to help you. But unfortunately we can not service them. So please do not ask as there are NO exceptions. This includes scooters as well. We recommend you contact your e-bike manufacturer for locations that will service your bike. Pick Up and Delivery

Need your bike serviced but do not have an easy way to get your bike to the shop? No problem, take advantage of our pick-up and drop off service. For a small fee of $10 to cover gas and insurance, we will pick up your bike within 10 miles of Lombard.

*** For extra convenience you can leave your bike in a safe place and we can pickup or drop off without you needing to be there! ***

Our pickup and drop off hours are offered mornings and evenings depending when the shop is open. Call to schedule a time, or book online!

Retro Tune

The Retro Tune is the basic maintenance package for you bike. Typically you should have this done once a year depending on your riding habits. This comprehensive tune up will solve most problems associated with your bike.  Any additional repairs  you may need, based on the type of bike you have will be added, after your approval. 

The Retro Tune contains the following services. 

Safety Check - We check your bike for common issues such as worn/cracked brake pads, frayed or broken cables, loose bolts and connections and also check your chain for stretch.

Air Pressure - Your tires are filled to the proper PSI for safe riding. We ensure the tires are not dry rotted or cracking. Did your bike already have a flat? No worries, our tune up includes the labor for fixing a flat, you just pay for the tube!

Index adjustment - Your front and rear derailleurs will be adjusted to ensure smooth shifting.  Your chain is checked for wear.

Brake adjustment - Proper brake alignment keep you safe on the road. We check your brakes for wear. For disc brakes we clean the rotors and brake pads!

Wheel True - Trueing, or straightening, of your wheels help prevent tire wear and, in the case of rim brakes, helps prevent unwanted brake rubbing.  This also allows us to check your hubs, spokes and axle for wear. 

Clean and Lube drive train. - Your rear cassette (gears), front crank, and chain are degreased and cleaned. A fresh dry lube is applied to your chain to keep your components protected.

Bike Clean - Got trail dust all over your bike? No problem, our Retro Tune includes a basic cleaning of your bike frame!

Build a Bike

They make it look so easy online. Just pop the bike out of the box, wrench on a few parts and you are ready to ride. This, for the most part, is not reality. Boxed bikes typically have wheels that need to be straightened, hubs that are cranked on so tight the wheel barely moves, misaligned brakes, etc. Don't start your bike adventure frustrated! We take care of all of this for you! It is seriously worth it!
